ワールドサーフリーグ （World Surf League 以下“WSL”) はWSLの日本事務所を2020年5月31日をもって閉鎖することを決定しました。 今後WSLは日本のオペレーションをオーストラリアに拠点を有するthe WSL APAC office で行います。
日本は引き続きWSLにとって非常に重要なマーケットであり、今回の変更はアジアの他の地域とのより良い整合性をもたらし、WSLがこの地域により傾注できるようにするためのものです。WSLは日本で認定されているイベントを行なっていく立場を遵守します。
WSL日本事務所の閉鎖はTosh OmiとRie Omi (近江俊哉氏と近江りえ氏)の本組織での彼らの役割からの辞任となります。我々は、彼ら二人及び全てのWSL Japan の関係者に対してこの数年間の彼らのサポートについて感謝しております。
全てのメンバーやエントリーについての照会は、WSL APAC Office（australasia@worldsurfleague.com）へお願いします。 WSL APAC の Commercial Director であるScott Hargreaves が事業展開（business development）の照会についての主要連絡先となります。
更に、 WSL Japan のwebsite ( www.wsljapantour.com ) とソーシャルメディア のアカウントも6月1日から閉鎖されます。WSLに関連する全ての情報につきましては、 www.worldsurfleague.com をご参照いただくと共に@WSLのフォローをお願い致します。

The World Surf League (WSL) has made the decision to shut the WSL Japan office effective May 31st, 2020. The WSL will operate the Japan region from the WSL APAC office based in Australia.
Japan continues to be a very important market for the WSL and these changes are intended to bring more consistency with the rest of Asia and allow WSL to devote more resources to the region. The WSL remains committed to delivering WSL sanctioned events in Japan.
The Japan WSL office closure will see Tosh and Rie Omi stand down from their roles within the organisation and we would like to thank them, and all the WSL Japan contractors, for their support over recent years.
All member and entry inquiries should be directed to the WSL APAC Office via australasia@worldsurfleague.com. WSL APAC Commercial Director Scott Hargreaves will be the key contact for any business development inquiries.
