３週間に及ぶノースオーシャンロードが終わり、函館港から青森・下北半島の北端、大間へ、

津軽海峡フェリーで１時間半の船旅〜〜

After a 3 week trip at Hokkaido, hopped onto a ferry and went over Tsugaru Strait~~

またまた雨に煙る函館山、、、

さらば、北海道〜〜

Still raining in Mount Hakodate…

See you Hokkaido~~

原発銀座とも言われる下北半島の大間港に到着〜

ここから陸路でひたすら南下ですじゃ〜

Got to Ooma Port in Shimokita Peninsula~~

And we’re driving down south~~~

本州最北端の大間崎から望む弁天島。

天気が良ければ対岸に函館が見えるはずだ。

そしてこのエリアはフノリの名産地でもある。

If weather was clear, we could of see Hakodate from here.

And this area is famous of funori.

大間からコーストラインを通って尻屋崎へ〜

尻屋崎にはゴッツイ体格の寒立馬が放牧されている。

Went by to Shiriyazaki~~

Huge horses was living wild here.

雨・霧の道中、一路八戸へ〜

Heading toward to Hachinohe~~

八戸港の近くにある蕪島神社。

かつてここのビーチでオオサワノブユキのカバーショットを撮影したことがある。

I remember having a session with Nobuyuki Osawa at his beach.

して種差にあるリップカレントサーフショップにストップバイして、

久々にオーナーのナガオカさんと再会〜〜

かつて秋の恒例陸奥ロード取材の終点がここ八戸で、

毎回クラシックな波に巡り合うことができた、オイラの大好きなエリアの一つだ。

今夜はまたまたのロングドライブで疲れたので、洋野町海浜公園で車中泊〜〜

Stopped by to this Rip Curl Surf Shop at Tanesashi and

had a reunion with Nagaoka-san~~

My trip through Mutsu Road ended here in Hachinohe and

shot many classical wonderful waves here.

Anyway, I was deadly exhausted so slept in my car at a park near by~~
