いよいよ渡島半島の東海岸を走って函館エリアへ〜

Finally moving forward to Hakodate~~

かつてJPSAのコンテストが行われたこともあるトドホッケの銚子サーフビーチ。

南東のオンショアを喰らいながらもイージーオーバーヘッド・ニアリークローズコンディションだった。

JPSA’s contest was held before at this Choshi Beach.

Condition was easy over head size in this closed condition.

こちらはやや風をかわし気味のサッキーブレイク〜

Waves breaking where it can avoid the wind~~

河口ブレイクではロングボーダーが一人サーフしていた。

There was one long boarder surfing at the river-mouth.

こちらはライトのポイントブレイクで、サイズがあればインサイドまでラップしてきそうだ。

This right is a point break and it would probably rap up when it gets some size.

噴火湾から渡島半島はホタテ漁が盛んだ。

Uchiura Gulf is famous of scallops.

温泉を使った蒸し器が道の駅に設置されていた〜

There was a steamer made out of hot spring’s heat~~

恵山岬にあった無料の露店風呂だが、潮・波が高くて温泉に海水が入り、

冷たくてとてもじゃないが入れんかった〜〜

There was free hot spring at Cape Esan but ocean was flooding in so

too cold to relax~~

こちらはレフトのポイントブレイク。

Lefty point break.

こちらは河口のレフティ。

River-mouth’s lefty.

一番コンディションが良かったビーチブレイク。

Beach break looked the best today.

今回のノースオーシャンロードの中で一番波があったのがここ函館エリアでした〜

Halodate Area had the best wave during this trip~

今宵は赤レンガ倉庫にて、函館ローカルレジェンドのナカムラソウイチさん（中央）と、

ユートピアサーフガレージのスズキサトル君（左）とドリンクオン〜

ソウイチ君とは実に２０年振りの再会となった〜

そのソウイチ君、今は矢沢永吉のトリビュートバンドを結成し、各地でライブ活動を行っている〜

For tonight, drank with Hakodate’s local legend, Souichi Nakamura and

Satoru Suzuki~~~

Never seen Souichi for 20 years~~

He’s doing a live music of Eikichi Yazawa’s song~~~
