Kaishu & Mahina @ Haleiwa
本日のノース、アップカミングデイ〜
ブイは昨夜からジャンプアップしてたが朝一はまだそこまでのサイズアップはなく、
朝二あたりから刻一刻と上がりだし、パイプはダブルアップしだし、
サンセットも見る見る内にでかくなってきた〜
なので午前のセッションはまだ平和？なハレイワで〜
Size is rising up~~
Buoy’s number jumped up dramatically but size wasn’t that big.
But waves started to go double up from late morning and
even Sunset started to wake up as well~~
And we went for a peaceful Haleiwa session~~
Mahina Maeda
今朝はハーレーのチームマネージャーでもあるジョエルセンティオのコーチングを受けるため、
パパとハレイワにやってきたマヒちゃん。
一本乗っては上がり、ジョエルのアドバイスをもらっていた。
Mahina came to Haleiwa get a lesson by
Hurley’s manager, Joel Centeio.

Kaishu Tanaka
サイズがあると思って6’6″を持って来てしまったカイシュウ。
あちゃ〜長過ぎたかな？と思いきや、やっぱグングンサイズアップしだし、
何気に長めの板の方が、今日のハレイワにフィットしていたようだった。
Kaishu thought size will be bigger so brought his 6’6” board.
Board was too big in the first half of session but size started to grow up so
it fitted into the ocean well.
新芽に生え変わる時期なのか、すっかり坊主になったハレイワ名物のトゥリー。
This old big tree got bald.
@ Pipeline
そして夕方はもうニアリークローズ気味のパイプと化した。
良さそうに見えても、砂の付きなのかスエルディレクションなのか風なのかで、
いまいちパイプらしいシャープでクリーンなバレルを形成しないのだ。
Nearly closed out in Pipeline.
Looks fine but all of the elements of a good condition isn’t right so
barrel kind waves weren’t there.

Winner Sebastian Zietz
今季はリプレースメントでワールドツアーに出場できたシーバスだったが、
なんとこのマーガレットリバープロで、ついにワールドツアー初優勝を遂げてしまった！！
Sebastian got into this season’t World Tour as a replacement but
he became the champion at Margaret River!!!
2nd Julian Wilson
終始リードを保ち、流れもジュリアンにあると思われたが、
シーバスのグラブレール／リップカーブスラッシュには高得点がつき、
最後に引っくり返され涙を飲んだジュリアン。
Julian was taking the lead in the first point but
Sebastian’s lip curve slash earned a high score and
won the game.

実はこの二人２８歳の同期、ワールドツアーもいよいよ新世代に突入した！！
