本日、リップカールプロ／ベルズビーチ、メンズ／ラウンドー１のヒートー６まで消化。
潮が上げてしまい、風も入って来たので、メンズ／ラウンドー１は半分で終了〜
注目のカノアイガラシはヒートー３に出場。
フィリーペトレドが欠場のためダスティペインが急遽出場、
イタロフェレイラとの戦いで、見事２本を決めてトップ通過、
ラウンドー３にスキップしていった。
初戦／クイックシルバー／ゴールドコーストででも９位という、
ルーキーとしてはグッドスタートを切ったカノアボーイ。
ベルズででも勢いに乗ってゴーゴ〜〜〜
Finished up to Heat 6 Round 1 for the Rip Curl Pro, Bells Beach.
Tide rose up and wind filled in so couldn’t finish the whole first round~~
Igarashi Kanoa surfed on Heat 3.
Filipe Toledo didn’t take his part so Dusty Pain took his place.
Kanoa Igarashi won through the 1st round and skipped to Round 3.
He became 9th place on the Quiksilver Gold Coast so making a good start
as a rook. Go for it~~~~

昨日の夕方の勢いだともっとサイズアップかな〜っと思っていたんだが、、、

Kanoa Igarashi
カノアらしい落ち着いた試合運び、これでもかという波選び、
そして一度捉えたら必ず絶妙にコンプリートしてくる、
ややパワー不足ながらも、洗練されたスタイルをもって演出してくるところが魅力のカノア。
まずはラウンドー１をトップ通過果たし、ラウンドー３へ〜
背番号の５０は五十嵐の五十からと、
アメリカの５０番目の州／ハワイをリスペクトしての意味だそうだ。

Kano picks the right wave and completes till the end.
Doesn’t have much power but Kanoa impresses us us with his sharp style of surfing.
Anyway, won up to the Round 3~~
His uniform number was No. 50.
This is because of his name Igarashi (Meaning of 50 in Japanese) and
his home state Hawaii, which is the 50th state if the United State of America.
