And he became unstoppable and won through the game.

セミでミックを倒しトリプルクラウンに輝いたガブリエルメディーナ。

アドリアーノとのブラジリアンファイナルでは、シャットダウンパイプにやられ、

昨年同様２位に甘んじてしまった。

Gabriel conquered the Triple Crown.

Adriano got shut down by Pipe’s wave and became 2nd place.

クォーターでアダムメーリングを敗りセミに勝ち上がったメイソンには、

地元ハワイから溢れんばかりの声援が送られたが、

セミファイナルでアドリアーノとの激戦で惜しくも敗れてしまったが、

超グッドジョブのメイソン！！

Mason won up the Quarter Final and gained a lot of cheers from the local Hawiians but

couldn’t win the game with Adriano.

Still, good job Mason!!

3rd  Mick Fanning

このコンテスト期間中に実兄の訃報が届き、悲しみの中での戦いとなったミック。

クォーターでケリーを敗り、セミでもガブリエリにリードしていたが、

ガブの一発ヒュージエアーに点が出てしまい逆転され、

自力でのワールドタイトルが無くなり、

そこを突いてアドリアーノがファイナルに勝ち上がったため、

目の前にあったグランドチャンプの座を失ってしまったミックファニング。

Gabriel made one huge air so

lost his chance to win the World Title and Grand Champion.
