やっと車検からハイエースが戻ってきたので、午前２時に大阪をキックオフし、一路千葉へ〜
秋晴れのサンライズに映える富士山を横目に突っ走ったが、
やや大阪を出たのが微妙に遅くて、横浜渋滞に引っかかってしもた〜〜
それでも午前１０時には千葉に到着〜
丁度メンズトップシードが出てくるラウンドー７が１１時から始まった。
グラチャン争いが見どころとなった、この最終戦ブルーエコシステムプロ。
オオノマサトシはラウンドー６で敗れ、
オオサワノブユキ、ゼンケナオフミ、ムラカミシュンがラウンドー７で敗退したことによって、
カトウアラシ、タナカヒデヨシ、ニシシュウジのチャンプ争いになった。
さらにQSツアーを回っていたオオハラヒロトやオオハシカイト、キノカイト、ナカムラタクミらも参戦し、
かなり見ごたえのあるヒート展開となった。
そしてレディースはラウンドー２で敗れてしまったが、３位敗退だったので、試合終了を待たずして
今期のグラチャンを決めたのが若干１５歳のカワイミノリとなった。
グラチャンを取れた喜びよりもヒートに勝てなかった悔しさから、
ずっと涙を流し続けていたミノリちゃんが印象的だった。

My car got fixed so kicked off Osaka to Chiba~~
Rode through Fujiyama but
got stuck in the traffic at Yokohama~~~
But got to the destination on 10 am.
Round 7 started from 11 am and
Grand Champion was chosen on this competition.
Masatoshi Ohno has lost on Round 6,
Nobuyuki Osawa, Naofumi Zenke and Shun Murakami has lost on Round 7 so
Arashi Kato, Hideyoshi Tanaka and Shuji Nishi fought for it.
Also, Hiroto Ohara, Kaito Ohashi, Kaito Kino and Takumi Nakamura from the QS Tour
caught up with it and the battle heated up.
On the ladies division, Minori Kawai has been chosen as the Grand Champion.
But she looked mortifying about losing the heat.

Takumi Nakamura
世界ではなかなか勝たせてもらえないタクミ、来季に向けて仕切り直しますわ〜〜だって。
Takumi couldn’t show his skills out at the World so let’s reset for the next season.
Yuji Mori
トライアルからプロ公認を得て勝ち上がってきたスーパーコンペボーイ・モリユウジ。
Yuji Mori has been promoted as a Pro and won through the battle.
Naoto Takanashi
若手が台頭してくる中、いぶし銀の強さを絞り出してくるナッシー。
Naoto is still in the front line with the young ones.
Kaito Ohashi with Yuji Mori
今期のリージョンをゲットし、QSツアーをラウンドしてカイトが久々国内戦に参戦。
ノブ、そしてカイト、そしてそしてユウジへと茅ヶ崎魂が継承されていってる。
Kaito battled thorugh the QS Tour and got back to the Japanese circuit.
Nobu to Kaito. Kaito to Yuji. Generation keep going.
Hideyoshi Tanaka
アラシがクォーターに進めず、ヒデヨシが優勝すればヒデヨシがグラチャンを取れることになるので
いつになく研ぎ澄まされた試合運びを展開していき、優勝への一念で勝ち上がっていった。
Arashi couldn’t go up to the Quarters so Hideyoshi got a good chance to become
a Grand Champion.
Taichi Wakita
ルーキーとしては今期大活躍、大躍進を遂げたタイチボーイ。
Taichi is making some effort as a rookie.
Masahiro Sekiguchi
志田下の掘れたインサイドセクションでアピールして見せたセキグチマサヒロ。
Masahiro Sekiguchi showed some tricks in the inside.
Kento Takahashi
ソリッドな縦上がりが決まりに決まりまくったケント、イエ〜〜〜イ！！
Kento made bunch of hollow tricks!!
Arashi Kato
前半良い波を捉えることができず、やや固さもあったアラシだったが、
後半の追い上げでトップ通過を果たし、グラチャンに向けて一つ駒を進めた。
Arashi couldn’t catch a good waves in the first half but
won through the match and moved onto the name of grand champion.
Ryo Miura
今回のバンクは通常の右端堤防横ではなくて、シダトラ寄り、中央よりももっと左がコンテスト嬢となった。
The bank wasn’t on the right side so contest position was on the left side.
Izuki Tanaka
志田を熟知しているイズキはコンペティターとしても優れているが、
イズキのコーチングによって、結果を出し伸びてきている若手プロも多くいるのだ。
Izuki knows this place better and also well known as a competitor but
his students are also making some efforts.
Takumi Yasui
相当なスキルを持ち合わせているヤスタクだが、まだどこかムラがあり、もう一歩結果を残せないでいる。
Takumi has a marvelous skill but still has a blank in it.
Kaito Kino
世界で培ってきたタクティクス、さらに完成度を高めたフルローテーションを武器に、
度肝を抜くサーフィンで観衆を沸かせたキノカイト。
Kaito fought with his full-rotation and his tactics trained at the world.
Kan Watanabe
北東のオンショアとはいえ、グシャグシャのチョッピーコンディションにはならず、
アクションの入るゲレンデとなった志田下。
Condition was north east onshore but didn’t become choppy and
the place changed into an action stage.
Kenta Hayashi
もうエアー合戦というかフルローテーションを決めるか決めないかのハイレベルな戦いとなった。
Surfer had to make a full-rotation or an air trcik.
Shun Murakami
ここまで絶好調だったシュンはラウンドー７でまさかの敗退を喫し、グラチャン争いから離脱してしまった。
Shun went through well but lost on Round 7.
Nobuyuki Osawa
ノブも悲願のグラチャン再奪取に向けてこの一年頑張ってきたが、このラウンドー７で敗れてしまった。
Nobu also surfed hard for a year to become a grand champion but lost on Round 7.
Hiroto Ohara
世界で戦うヒロトのサーフィンはさらにレベルアップ、スキルアップしており、
レールワーク、スピード、フルローテーション、全てに磨きがかかっていた。
Hiroto fought in the world so his skill and leve is
in a whole new world. Got sharpen’ up.
2016 JPSA Women’s Grand Champion Minori Kawai
まさかのイチコケ・ラウンドー２での敗退を喫してしまったが、３位敗退だったので
２０１６年度グランドチャンピオンに輝いたカワイミノリ。
この涙はグラチャンになれた嬉し涙ではなく、ヒートで勝てなかった悔し涙なのだ。
