昨日急に日本海が大荒れになったので、急遽メンバーを編成して、今朝京都・丹後へ急行〜
夏独特の風波なので昨日からは一気にサイズダウンしたものの、コンディションは整い、
３〜４プラスのAフレームが蘇った〜〜
ムラサキ湘南オープンも終わったので、湘南からムラカミシュンとマツオカケイトが、
徹夜のロングドライブを駆使して、ボックスのバレルを求めてやってきた〜
Japan Sea started to make some noise so gathered up the team and drove to Tango~~
Condition was the wind wave and condition was stabilized~~
Murasaki Open has been finished so Shun Murakami and Keito Matsuoka
came to taste the barrel at Tango Box~~

JPSA伊豆戦では優勝、今回のQS湘南戦では５位とコンテストシーンで大活躍するシュン。
しかし彼の真骨頂はキンキンのプルイン、まさにバレルジャンキーと言える。
前々からトライしたかった日本海のスラブ・ボックスの波だっただけに、
昨夜のいきなりのお誘いにも、気持ち良く二つ返事でオッケ〜
早速ロングドライブのバディを探したが、結局同じ想いをしていたケイトと共に来ることになった。
朝の５時過ぎ現場に到着すると、すでシュンとケイトはパドルアウトしていくとこだった。
日本海の波の短命を心得ているからこその機敏な行動と、
何よりもスラブの中に身を置いていたいと想う気持ちが強かったのだろう。
Shun is making some action in the contest scene recently.
But his main strength is his pull-in in this barrel condition.
He always wanted to surf at this place so
gave me positive reply last night~~
And he looked for a buddy that will come along with him and Keito raised his hand.
When I got to the place on 5 am, Keito and Shun was about to go out.
Their spirit for the Japan sea gave them
the ability take an action real quick.

この日本海のスラブに最も足繁く通っているサーファーの一人がケイトだ。
先週の台風１号では高知のリバーマウスの波をハンティングし、
今回も身軽なフットワークで若手のシュンボーイとタイトなチャンスを狙ってやってきたのは流石。
ボックスの炸裂デイとはいかなかったが、日本のどこにもないスティープなテイクオフはここだけのもの。
四国リバーマウスセッションに続き、素晴らしい日本海でのスラブセッションを展開していった。
Keito is one of the surfer that moves often for the Japan Sea waves.
He huted waves at Kochi last week and
came here in Tango with Shun for this session.
Wasn’t the best day but this steep take-off could be done only in this place.
Showed us a wonderful session.

用事で出かけていた東京から猛ダッシュで日本海に戻ってきたタカヒデ。
２年前にここで決めたライトのビッグバレルの感触が今も彼を駆り立てている。
Takahide got back from Tokyo.
He made one big right barrel 2 years ago and that became a unforgettable moment.

QS湘南戦から一旦大阪に戻り、家族で日本海に来たところ偶然？必然？遭遇したカイト。
ボックスの波は初めてなので、癖のあるピーク、ブレイクに翻弄されていたが、
持ち前のガッツでチャージンしていた。
アクションフォトは別の場所で、レフトのポイントブレイク。
朝一は良かったらしいが、午後にはもう風が入り、サイズもどんどん落ちてきてしまった。
After the Shonan Open, Kaito went back to Osaka and showed up here.
First time surfing here so looked confused but
was charging with his guts.
The photo above is at a point break on the left side.
Better in the morning but got badder later on.
がっつり２ラウンドサーフドアウトした後は、舟多慶の塩サバ定食〜〜（ロクさん、ゴッチ〜）
シュンとケイトはこのランチの後、ロングドライブとロングサーフセッションの疲れから
チェックインした守源旅館でバタンキュ〜〜
シュンに至っては夜になっても起きてこず、そのまま翌朝までディープスリープ〜〜
After a 2 round session, went for lunch~~~
After this meal, went to Morigen-Ryokan and
had a deep sleep till next morning~~
