ファイナリーサイズダウンして、朝一は３〜４ft、つまりオーバーヘッド。

でもツンツルツンのスーパークリーンコンディションで、

海部ならではのスイートバレルがパーフェクトにピールしていった〜

Size finally started to get small and got down to 3~4 ft.

Condition is so clean and

these perfect barrels were pealing through out in Kaifu~~

昨日までのチャレンジとは打って変わり、いらっしゃいませの波に、

サーファーは誰もがストーク。

Waves got surfable for many surfers so

many surfers stoked.

朝一の逆光ライトがリップラインを淡い緑に染上げ、サーファーはグライドしていく。

Morning sunlight colors the line greenish and surfer keeps gliding.

サイズダウンしたとはいえ、フリッキンセットはまだ充分なサイズをホールドし、

祭りの終焉までサーファーを楽しませてくれた。

Size went down but sets are still huge so

these variety of waves entertained the surfers.

これぞ誰もが夢見る海部ならではのパーフェクション。

風もなく愛おしくなるグラッシーコンディションとなった。

This is what we call the Kaifu’s perfection.

Condition became to this lovely glassy condition.

潮が干きだすと手前に砂利が見え出し、地形が寄って来ているのがよくわかる。

After tide got low, sands and rocks started to show up and we could tell that the bank is

getting washed up to the shore.

今朝の冷え込みは初冬を感じさせるくらいのチリーモーニングだった。

Morning temperature was chilly as winter.

朝一は流石にローカルが集結し混んでいたが、朝二にはラインアップにも隙が出て来た。

これもまた海部の良さだね〜

Early morning was crowded by the local surfers but started to get empty from late morning.

ディープポジションからのロングウォールも最高だが、

インサイドナゲッツもタックシャープで気持ち良さそう〜

Long wall from deep position looks fun but

this kind of inside barrels looks cool as well~~

更に潮が干くと更にバーが露出し、バンクの終わりかけを物語っていた。

When tide got more low, bar showed up so that means the bank won’t last too long.

Yukihiro Adachi

オイラの旅の師匠／アダッツァンも仕事がお休みだったので、

久々海部で２ラウンドこなしていった。

My master of trip, Adachi got a day off so

surfed 2 rounds today in Kaifu.

Takashi Kakihara

朝のドセットを奥からバックハンドでセットしにいったカッキン。

テトラ、砂利、そしてこのパーフェクトライトこそが海部の情景だ。

Kakihara set his self in this morning set.

Tetrapod, gravel and this perfect right makes Kaifu the place.

Takahide Mayaguchi

クール／ルースしたスタイルで波と融合したタカヒデ。

バックに写る船、島、オイラのお気に入りショットの一つだ。

Takahide stuck to the waves with this cool loosen style.

This boat and an island in the background makes it my favorite shot.

Shigeru Tsuji

宍喰でお洒落な洋風レストラン”バハティ”を経営する、ユウジロウのパパ／ツジさん。

仕事前、そして仕事の合間には必ず海にやってくるほどの海部フリークだ。

Tsuji-san, Yujiro’s father runs a restaurant called the Bahati at Shishikui.

He always surfs at Kaifu when he gets a free time.

ペタ〜っとした中にもまだこんなセットもやってくる午前のセッションだった。

There were some good sets coming in.

Akira Shindo

最高の４日間を海部で過ごし切ったアキラ。

この午前セッションを最後に湘南へ帰っていった。

Akira spent an wonderful 4 days in Kaifu.

After this morning session, he went back to Shonan.

 
Kenta Hayashi

ユウジロウやニシブラザーズ等はコンテストに出かけて不在だったが、

ケンタは最後の最後まで海部にへばりつき、

スモールからビッグ、チューブからリップまで、今回のセッションで完全燃焼した。

朝三にはセットも来なくなり、潮も干き、ザワザワっと南風が入り、砂利もかなり上がり、

長い様で短かった今回の海部取材が終了〜〜〜

にゃのでオイラもブギちゃんでチャポ〜ンと２ラウンドサーフしてサッパリコン〜

まさかの晩秋ラブリー海部デイズでした〜〜

では今宵はヨシジとドリンクオン〜〜〜！！

Yujiro and Nishi-brothers went to their competition but

Kenta stayed in Kaifu till the end and

surfed much as he can till the end.

After this morning session, south win started to fill in so

finish for this Kaifu trip~~~

Time for me to surf~~~
