2nd Arashi Kato
ファイナルでは最後の最後までタクミに食らい付いて行ったアラシ。
ラストライドで引っくり返せず、無念の２位となった。
Arashi fought bravely to Takumi on the Final.
But couldn’t make it over and became 2nd place.
3rd Hideyoshi Tanaka
多くを乗らず、しっかりと２本を決めて勝ち上がって来たヒデヨシだったが、
ファイナルではハイスコアを叩き出せず３位となった。
Hideyoshi won up to the Final by catching minimum waves but
couldn’t score high waves on the Final so became 3rd place.
4th Nobuyuki Osawa
スタイリッシュなサーフィン、静の中に熱さのあるサーフィンで
ファイナルにまで勝ち進んできたノブだったが、、、、
Nobu won up to the Final with his silent but heated passion.
Daiki Tanaka
今大会でプロに認定され、そのままセミファイナルにまで勝ち上がったタナカダイキ。
福岡出身の１６歳だ。
Daiki Tanaka became the Pro on this competition and won up to the Semi-Final.
16 years old kid surfer from Fukuoka.
Keijiro Nishi
同じく、今回プロに合格し、兄／シュウジをもクォーターで敗り、
セミファイナルまで進出した、やはり１６歳のニシケイジロウ。
Keijiro also became the Pro on this competition and defeated his older brother on
the Quarter-Final and got up to the Semi-Final.

Women’s Winner Erina Taniguchi
久々の優勝を果たしたベテランのタニグチエリナ。
サイズのあるオンショアのコンディションででも、
大きなラインで攻め込んだのが勝因となった。
コングラッツ、エリナ！！
Erina Taniguchi became the Champion on women’s division.
Condition was onshore with some size but
won the game with her strong line making.
Congrats!!
2nd Miho Ihara
エリナ同様ベテランの域にあるイハラミホも、彼女らしいタクティクスをもって、
優勝を狙いに行ったが、、、、
Miho Ihara is also one of the veteran surfer like Erina and
used her skillful tactics but didn’t make it…
3rd Rioko Miyasaka
昨年度のウイナー、ミヤサカリオコも再びファイナリストとなり、
連覇を狙いに行ったが、チョッピーの難しいコンディションで
良いスコアを叩き出せなかった。
Rikoko Miyasaka, former champion got into the Final and
aimed for the Champion again but condition was too choppy to
score a high score.
Momoko Miyasaka
たるい波を繋ぎ、グッドアクションを織り交ぜながらの良いサーフィンを披露した
リオコの姉、ミヤサカモモコ。
Momoko Miyasaka, Rioko’s sister paddled out this choppy condition and
showed us her good action.

午後コンテストが終わり、今度は静岡／御前崎までやってきた。
ドオンショアの伊良湖と打って変わり、サイドオフショアのコンディションで、
波も大炸裂していた〜〜
After the contest, I drove to Omaezaki, Shizuoka.
Waves were pretty pumping by the side offshore condition~~
Ken Higuchi
地元のプロ／ヒグチケンはホットなチャージャーで、
このエリアのスラブをサーフしまくっているハードコアなサーファーだ。
Ken Higuchi, the local Pro surfer is a hot charger and also
a hardcore surfer that surfs around in this area’s shore break.
Hideyoshi Tanaka
さっきまでのコンペティターとしてのヒデヨシではなく、
丸裸になった一人のサーファーとして、このヘビーコンディションに望んで行った。
ほとんどがクローズ／ダンパーの中で、きらりと光る一本を決めてくれた。
Hideyoshi was surfing here as one surfer, not as a competitor like in few hours ago.
Made through this one good in a closed or dumper condition.

伊良湖から湘南へ帰る道中で遭遇したパワービーチブレイク。
夕方真っ暗になるまでプルインを繰り返した〜
Found this power beach break when he was going back to Shonan from Irago.
Kept on pulling in until the place got dark~~
Akito Komuku
まだプロに認定されていないアキトだが、同じチームメイトのリキヤと、
伊良湖から御前崎に移動し、この３日間素晴らしい波でセッションをしていたという。
Akito hasn’t made up to the Pro yet but he had a wonderful session for the last 3 days
with his team mate, Rikiya.
Rikiya Kitada
奈良出身ながら宮崎在住で、サーフボードはここ御前崎エリアにあるブレーカウエイ。
一昨日はまるでオフザウォールの様な波だったと超ストークしていた〜〜
Rikiya is from Nara but lives in Miyazaki now and uses Break A Way’s surfboard.
He was stoked that the waves here was like Off The Wall yesterday.

サイズがあればあるほど、そのパワー／ティックさが増して来ると言う。
