@ Donkey Bay a.k.a Skelton bay Namibia
昨日は天候が回復することなく、早めにチ〜〜ン。
して今朝早くに起きると風が止んでいた。
星は見えなかったので曇り空かな〜
今日は午前５時半にクレッグ君にピックアップしてもらい、
全荷物を持ってバックパッカーはチェックアウトし、そのままドンキーベイへ〜
道中バッテリー？ダイナモ？スタータートラブルで一時スタックしたが、
なんとか押しがけでエンジンがかかり、兎にも角にもドンキーベイへ〜
Weather never recovered from yesterday~~
And wind stopped once I woke up.
Couldn’t see the starts so probably cloudy~
Anyway, my guide picked me up on 5 am and
headed straight to Donkey Bay~~
Truck stopped for a while by a battery problem but
got the engine started by pushing it and got there~~
デューン、ラグーン、塩田、砂地を突っ走ってドンキーベイへ〜
Driving through a lagoon, dune, salt pan to Donkey Bay~~
到着するとすでに数人のサーファーが沖にいて、波もプリファイア〜〜
Few surfers were already there in this nice waves~~
シールもゴーインオ〜〜フ！！
Seal is going off as well!!
波はインサイドまでニュキニョキピ〜〜〜リン〜〜〜
Waves are pealing to the inside~~

同じ飛行機でナミビア入りして来たエヴァンガイゼルマン、ブレットベイリー、
ヤーディンニコル、ブレットシンプソン等も、ドンキーベイの波質に舌を巻いていた〜
Evan Geiselman, Brett Barely, Yadin Nicol and Brett Simpson also was enjoying the waves out here~
やがてフォグが取れ出し、天気が良くなって来ると、急に暖かくなって来た。
潮が干いているためブレイクは早かったが、まさに日本の河口のような波がグリグリに巻いていた〜
Tide was low so waves moves fast but it was making a barrel like in Japanese river mouth~~
何度も何度もスピッツアウトして来るんだぜ〜
色はグリーニーで、海の塩分は異常に強いらしい。
Spitting out many times in a single wave~
Color is greeny and salinty is very high.
とにかく巻きっぱなしで何百メーターもホローレフトが続いて行くクレージーウエイブだ。
Hollow left just continued for a few hundred feet.
午後１時半のフライトなので、午前１１時にはドンキーベイを去った。
My flight was on 1:30 pm so left here 11 am.
帰りの砂地でまたジャコブスに遭遇〜〜
シールを狙ってビーチを徘徊している。
And saw a fox again~~
砂地を抜けて塩田地帯に戻り、いざ空港へ〜
Now, lets go back to the airport~~
ナミビア・ウォリスベイからサウスアフリカ・ヨハネスブルグを経由して、
午後８時にダーバンに戻って来た〜
明日は正午のフライトでダーバンから再びヨハネスブルグへ飛び、
そこから香港経由で帰国することになる。
ラストは２泊３日のナミビアトリップで締めました〜〜〜
Got back to Durban via Johannesburg.
For tomorrow, we’ll go back to Japan via Hing Kong.
This trip ended up with a Namibia Trip~~
