ずっとポストフォンとなっていた、マイクスチュアート・パイプラインインビテーショナルの
ファイナルデイがついにオンされた。
昨日からサイズアップし、覚醒しだしてきたノースショア。
今日は、ノース＆ウエストが入り混じった６〜８プラスのパイプとなり、
海は相変わらずのブラウンカラーだが、風も穏やかで波はパンピン、絶好のファイナルデイとなり、
地元ハワイのパイプレジェンド・ジェフハバードが優勝した！！
Pipeline Invitational’s final day has been held today.
Size started to rise up from yesterday and
became 6~8+ in Pipe along with northerly west swell.
Ocean is still browny but condition was pumping and
the Pipe Legend, Jeff Hubbard won the game!!

ラウンドー２＆３を勝ち上がって、今日のファーストヒート、ラウンドー４・ヒートー１に出場したコンドウヨシタダ。
期待とは裏腹にパイプらしい波を捉えることなく４位で敗退してしまった。
Kondo Yoshitada won up Round 2 & 3 and surfed on today’s first heat, Heat 1, Round 4.
But couldn’t catch a worthy wave and lost as a 4th place.

午前中はグラッシーコンディションだったが、午後からはやはりヴァリアブル独特のオンショアが吹き始め、
夕方は更に強まりコンディションは悪化したが、波は一日中ホールドし、
明日もまだサイズが残るのでは？という感じだった。
Glassy condition in morning but variable wind started to blow from afternoon and
condition got worth from evening but size was alright for the day.
I guess size will hold till tomorrow.
