丸一日中デスクワークに励んでいたら、
現在大学４年生、就職活動真っ最中の息子のサクヤが、
最近はまっている星空の撮影を、俺のカメラでやってみたいから、
大台ケ原に行こうと突然誘ってきやがった。
なんか一日中部屋でパチパチだったので気分変えに行くかとなった。
大阪を午後９時頃に発ち、息子の運転で俺はうたた寝〜
真夜中に大台ケ原に着くと、ピ〜ンとした冷たさで一気に目が覚めた。
用意してあったフリース、ダウンジャケット、靴下、靴に履き替え、
駐車場から懐中電灯を持って更に山頂を目指した。
かなりのトレール、階段をヒーハー息切れしながら、
鹿や熊にもびびりながら、有り得ない真夜中登山を敢行。
いつもならビール飲んで、へべれけになって寝ている時間に、
なんでか標高１８００メートルの山頂に到着〜〜
息子はすでに何度か来ているらしく、新月の時の星空が最高と言い放った。
今日は半月ながら、秋雨前線の合間としては空がスーパークリアで見事な星空だった。
早速俺の一眼レフで夜空の撮影講習会〜〜
実は俺もあんまり得意分野ではないが、カメラの性能がいいので、
ウンチク言いながらド素人の息子に真夜中のご教授が始まった。
いつもはアイフォン、借り物のカメラで星空の撮影をし、
イメージ通りうまく写らないとボヤいていた息子だったが、
流石世界最高峰の一眼レフ／キャノン／イオス１−D/マークXの
凄さにはおったまげていた〜
特にフィッシュアイレンズに興味を持ち、シャッターを切りまくっていた。
フィルム時代では考えられなかった事だ。
登坂で汗をかいたが、頂上の冷たい空気にさらされ逆に冷え込んできたので、
そろそろ眠いし帰ろうと言っても、まだまだ撮りたいとカメラから離れない。
大台ケ原の頂上からは大阪の灯り、名古屋の灯りが遠くに見え、
眼下には熊野か新宮の町の灯りも見える程の絶景で、
空気が澄んで、天気のいい日には遠くに富士山も見えると言う。
日本中いや世界中旅してきた自分だったが、灯台下暗しの如く、
こんな近くにこんな所があったとは、、、
更にこんな真夜中の山を体験したことも初めてかもしれない。
後２〜３時間もしたら美しい夜明けが見れるはずだが、
いい加減体も冷えきり、何よりも眠気がぶり返してきたので、
息子的には涙の撤退、また長い下り道をつまずきながら駐車場まで戻って行った。
大阪までの帰りの道中は疲れから助手席でぐっすり眠ってしまったが、
海にはない、山の森の夜の新鮮な空気に包まれた、心地よいプチトリップだった。
When I was working with my desk work,
my son, Sakuya told me he wants to stargaze and shoot some pictures of stars so
lets go to Odaigahara.
Well, I was getting sick of my all day desk work so I decided to go as well.
Started driving on 9 pm and slept in the car~~
When I got to Odaigahara, I woke up by it’s cold temperature.
Got changed into warm clothes and
walked up to the summit from the parking lot.
Walked through this rough trail in darkness.
I usually drink beer and get into bed on this time but
I reached to the summit for today~~~
My son came here few times already and he told me that starts are more beautiful
when moon is new.
But even though the moon was still half-moon, sky was super clear and
showed us a lovely stars in the sky.
So, we started taking pictures under my lesson~~
I’m not a pro in shooting stars but my camera’s potential is just wonderful so
I was able to teach my son.
Sakuya usually takes pictures with his i phone or his friend’s camera so
couldn’t shoot like he wanted but thanks to my camera, Canon EOS 1-D Mark X,
he was just amazed by it’s wonderful image~~
He was especially interested in the fish-eye and shot as many as he wanted.
Never imagined about that from the film camera’s time.
We sweated while we were climbing the mountain and air was really cold so
I told him to pack up to go back home but he still sticks to the camera.
We could see lights of Osaka & Nagoya from the summit and also Ise Bay in the bottom.
When air is more clear, we even could see Mt. Fuji from here.
I traveled all around the World but never reached to this place…
And also, it was my first time walking in the forest during midnight.
Sun would of rose in 2~3 hours but
my body was getting frozen and I was also getting sleepy so
walked back to the parking lot.
Slept in the car for the whole time till Sakuya drove me home but
it was a really nice short trip in that midnight forest with some fresh air.

メイクしてもこんなヘビーワイプアウトを強いられる〜〜
Yujiro was making through the waves quite good but
even he makes this kind of heavy wipe out~~~

常にゴリってる波を求めているショウタのぶれないプルインは世界級といえる。
コンテストが終わってもタイフーンスエルが続いていたので、
ショウタは伊良湖に居残り、このザビーチのショアブレイクバレルを味わいまくっていった。
Shota’s hard pull in to this shore break is absolutely world-calss.
Event the competition has ended, he was enjoying the shore break barrels.
