カズマとは４歳年上になるアオイにとっても、今回のダレフトセッションは初めての経験だという。

砂辺のメインやコーナーのスケッチーなリーフブレイクでサーフィンを育んできたアオイだが、

今回の台風セッションで、本島西面の波の真髄を知ることとなった。

これからは沖縄が世界に誇るコーラルリーフ、アウターリーフへのチャレンジを高めていってもらいたい。

そして今回のコアなセッションを、１２歳になるアオイの弟・ハルが、

チャンネルから熱い想いで眺めていたことが印象的だった。

グーフィーフッターでもあるハルのチャレンジもそう遠くはないはずだ。

It was Aoi’s first time experience having a session at The Left.

Surfed in Sunabe and sketchy reef breaks normally so he never seen this island’s western side’s

true face when typhoon swell fills in.

Please be proud of your local world class reef.

During this session, his brother, Haru was watching from the shore.

I’m sure Haru will out there soon.
