The Twelve Apostles @ Port Cambell

本日のベルズ、フルオンショア、、、

コンテストはオフコール、レイデイとなった。

なので今日はトーキーから２００キロ近く離れた所に位置する、

１２アポッスルズまで観光ドライブ〜〜

Onshore condition at today’s Bells…

So competition was canceled.

And went for a drive to 12 Apostles~~

ノスタルジックなスプリットポイントライトハウス。

Classic kind light house.

オーストラリアのキャバンパークやビーチパークには必ずこのようなガスコンロがあり、

無料で使う事ができる。

直接パンに乗せて焼くのが通常だが、この人は衛生上、片付け上、

このようにアルミホイルをひいて焼いていた〜なるほど〜〜

これなら汚くないし、後片付けも楽なんだね〜

There’s always this kind kitchen established together with the caravan park or a beach park

and it’s free to use it.

People usually burn the bread directly but this gut was using a foil.

Nice idea~~ That’ll make it easy to clean and won’t cause sanitary problems~

オーストラリアでは乾燥して気温が上がるとブッシュファイアーになることがある。

こんな寒いビクトリアでもそんなことがあるんだね〜

In Australia, bush fire happens when the environment gets dried.

Even in this cold Victoria~~

道中見つけたコアラちゃんやオージービーフ、アルパカさんをスナップ〜

ケープパットンから望むと遥か向こうにアウターリーフブレイクが、、

Outer reef was breaking when we checked out from Cape Patton..

河口に積み上げられた多くに石の塔、なんやろ？？

ハーフウエイのアポロベイを過ぎ、ケープオトウエイへ〜〜

途中のユーカリロードでは再びコアラを発見〜

珍しく起きてユーカルの葉っぱを食っとりよった〜〜

When we heading toward,

found a koala again~

This one was eating the leaves~~

かつてベルズがフラットの時、このジョアンアに移動してコンテストが行われた事もあった。

今日はドオンショアのクローズアウト〜〜

Long ago, contest was held here in Johanna, when waves were flat in Bells.

But the point was closed out today~~

そしてようやく目的の１２アポッスルズに到着〜

ベルズを午前７時半に発ち、道中観光しながらだったので、

ここに到着したのは午後２時過ぎ、、、

こりゃ〜帰りがやばいと思って、ポートキャンプベルからインランド経由で走ると、

にゃんと２時間でトーキーに帰ってこれた〜

ベルズは相変わらずブ〜ブ〜の風だとのこと、、、

試合は恐らく土日のスエルで終わらせる模様なので、引き続きトーキーステイですじゃ。

Finally made it to the 12 Apostles~~

Started driving from Bells on 7:30 am and got here on 2 pm..

But took only 2 hours to go back when use the in land way~~

But Bells is still windy…

Competition will be finished during this Saturday and Sunday so have to stay in Torquay.
