本日のノースショア、サンセットはほぼクローズアウト、パイプはトゥーノースで全くダメ、
ワイメアは１２〜１５アンダーでプリウィークながらも一番サーファブルなコンディションだった。
しかし昼前には、またまたノーザリーウインドが吹き出し、セットも少なくなって来た。
Closed out condition in Sunset and Pipe area.
At Waimea, size was 12~15 with surfable waves.
But northerly wind started to blow from early noon so sets were gone.

ママさんビッグウエイブボディボーダーのチグサちゃんがラインアップしていた〜
かつて水中で撮影していた頃、俺はチグサが２０フット級のモンスターをドロップし、
ボトムに降りきる前に巨大なリップの餌食になるところを目撃したことがある。
しかし水面に上がって来たチグサは笑顔でストークしていたのには本当にたまげた。
時が過ぎ４人の子供の母となったチグサだが、あの頃と変わらないチャージを見せてくれた。
Chigusa-chan was in the line-up~~
I remember she dropping down vertically from a 20 ft monster set.
But gave me a big surprise when she was stoked with a big smile when rising up from the water.
And now she’s a mother of 4 children but her charge never changes.

ファビオゴウベイアと言ってもピンと来ないかもしれないが、
現CTサーファー・イアンゴウベイアの父であり、まさに現在のブラジリアンストームの先駆者なのだ。
このファビオとフラビオパダラッツの二人がブラジルから世界へ飛び出し、
WSLの前身でもあるASPで大活躍し、今のブラジルサーフシーンがあると言っても過言ではないのだ。
今日は息子のイアンとベイをパドルアウトし、誰よりもグッドセットをメイクしていた。
Not so many people knows about Fabio Gouveia but
he’s the father of the current CT Surfer, Ian Gouveia and one of the pioneer of Brazilian Storm.
Fabio & Flavio Padaratz jumped out from Brazil and made a huge effort on ASP and
brought the surfing scene to Brazil.
For today, he paddled out with his son and made a good set.

今日３度目となるハレイワチェックでジャックロビンソンがパドルアウトして行った〜〜
朝一よりはサイズ、カレントは幾分収まっていたが、まだまだナーリーコンディションのハレイワを
ロボ独特のレールワークサーフィンは輝いて見えた〜〜
Went for a check to Haleiwa and saw Jack Robinson paddling out~~~
Size and current was settled down but
Jack was gliding through the gnarly sets~~~

風はヴァリアブルになるので、どこが決まるのかにゃ？？
Size will hold around in 10~13 tomorrow.
Wind will be variable so some places may be surfable.
