@ The River Kochi Shikoku
高知リバー、デイー２〜〜
サイズは少しダウンしたけどセットは３〜４、今日もライト＆レフト共ゴーインオ〜フ！！
天気はドピーカン、風も無く、暑い熱い一日だった。
ブレイクの目の前の堤防から撮影していると、一波一波ごとに砂が上がって行くのがわかる。
朝の内は完璧なAフレームだったが、昼前にはショアブレイク気味になり、
ザワザワ〜っとオンショアが吹き出し、モーニングセッションが終了した。
四国名物ぶっかけうどんをツルっとすすって、他の河口もチェックにいったが、
まだ流れていたり、地形が無くなってしまっていたりで、どこも良くなかった。
昨日と違ってオンショアが強まり、天気も怪しくなり、午後セッションはなく終了〜
アフリカ帰りの疲れ、昨日の夜通し運転に、丸一日撮影、更に激暑で、
かなりバテバテ状態ですじゃ〜〜
しかし、昨日といい、今日といい最高なリバーマウスセッションですたわい！
Day 2 in Kochi River~~
Size went down a bit but sets are still sround 3~4. Righty & lefty is looking good!!
All day sunny with no wind.
When we are shooting from the bank, we could see literally waves rising.
Nice A frame on morning session but started to get changed to a shore break on lunch and
off shore started to blow so finished for the morning session.
Ate some udon and went for a check to the river mouth but
no where was good.
Also, onshore got stronger and weather was getting cloudy so finished for the day~~
Damn tired by the trip to South Africa and all day driving to Kochi~~
But still, it was wonderful session at the river mouth!!
Kenta Hayashi
裸ででもできる水温／気温だが、日焼けが痛いとフルスーツでサーフしたケンタ。
昨日はライトのドセットに照準を置いていたが、
今日はライト＆レフトのミディアムサイズのコンパクトバレルを狙っていった。
随分と地形は上がったが、ケンタ曰く、もう一回でかいサイズだとおもしろそうだとさ。
Temperature was high enough to surf with out a suit but
Kenta surfed with a full suit.
He was aiming for the sets at the righty but
he was going for the compact barrel on righty & lefty for today.
Bank has changed a lot but Kenta was saying if this place gets some good size,
it might be nice.
Shuji Nishi
昨日は真っ暗になるまでガイやジョー等とサーフドアウトしたシュウジ。
ガイとジョーは徳島へ戻ったが、シュウジは一人残り、寂しく？車中泊？
しかしその甲斐あって、今朝はレフトでバレルにつぐバレルバレルを味わった。
命短き河口の波だけに、貴重なモーニングセッションを堪能した。
Shuji was surfing all day long with Guy and Joe.
Guy & Joe went back to Tokushima but Shuji slept over in his car and
surfed along with this barrels.
What a precious session in this river mouth.
Kaito Kurokawa
昨日に引き続き、今日も徳島から高知へ、朝一から登場していたクロカワファミリー。
長男のカイトは先のビラボンプロ／四国でプロに合格したが、
まだプロに転向するかどうかは未定のようだ。
それにしても、この波質の良さ、素直さは何なんだ？
まさに自然が贈るマジカルモーメンツだ。
Kurokawa family showed up like yesterday.
Eldest son, Kaito became the Pro from the Billabong Pro, Shikoku but
he’s still deciding if he’s gonna be the Pro or not.
Look at this wave’s simple but beauty.
