すでにオオサカデイですが、先の台風１２号／四国リバーマウスセッションでの
写真／映像の数々をシリーズに渡ってお届けしま〜す。
まずは、ハヤシケンタ君がとらえたウエイブオブザデイの一本を
シークエンスと映像で御覧ください〜
I’m already in Osaka now but
let me introduce some of my photos from the session in Shikoku’s river mouth.
First one is Kenta Hayashi’s Wave of The Day~~

ケンタがとらえたウエイブオブザデイがこれだ。
５０枚シークエンスを３６枚まで絞り込んだロングシークエンス。
朝一のローカルタイムでは、気を配って全く波をとらえなかったケンタだったが、
潮が上げに入りだした頃からサイズアップしだし、
午前７時３４分にこのめくれあがったドセットをとらえた〜〜
コンパクトなバンクなので左右は深く、この位置からのねじこみが方程式となる。
でかくなるのではなく、チョポのようにギュっと集約されて、
ベロンとダブルアップするタイプの波だ。

Kenta couldn’t catch much waves during the local morning time but
size started to rise along with the tide and
got this huge set on 7:34 am~~~
The bank is compact so surfer has to pull in rapidly and
make through the barrel.
ケンタはこの河口の側で生まれ育ち、サーフィンを始めた時から慣れ親しんだ海。
高知の他の河口よりも地形が決まりにくく、
今回の波はケンタにして数年振りの質の良さだと言い切った。
自分も２００４年に当時まだキッズだったケンタ＆ユウジロウ等と、
ここのエクセレントウエイブを当てた以来のことだ。
この日の前日からタイフーンスエルが届きだし、
朝の内は肩〜頭でパーフェクトAフレームだったという。
そしてその日の夕方にはカミングアップし、
ついにこの日スーパーゴーインオフデイとなったのだ。

Kenta was raised and grew up together with this river mouth.
Kochi’s river mouth doesn’t get much good bank in a while
but Kenta told us that the quality of this session’s wave was one of the
best one comparing to the past couple years.
After the typhoon swell started to reach up here,
A frame kind wave started to show up from the next morning.
And this super going off condition became true.

四国夏物語、まだまだ続くよん〜
Shikoku’s summer story will continue~~
四国から大阪に戻ると、シラスの山利アイテムが届いていた〜〜
サンダルは沖縄／島草履で作ったオリジナルデザイン、軽くて履きやすいのじゃ！
ティーシャツは新しいデザインで、これはバックプリントだが、
前面には今流行りの胸ポケットがあり、そこにも山利デザインがなされている。
そして、釜揚げ、ちりめん、佃煮のシラス３点セット。
サウスアフリカではほとんど肉料理だったので、久々のシラスにストークですじゃ！
When I got back from Shikoku, Yamari’s shirasu goods were delivered to my house~~
Love the new sandle they made!!
And this brand new t-shirt has a original design and a chest pocket.
And as always, kama-age, chirimen and tsukudani was inside as well.
Damn stoked of this shirasu!!
